The wonderful fragrance of homemade bread wafted through the schoolyard on Sunday, May 6 as the PTSG gathered to baked Portuguese Milk Bread. They gathered with the goal to bake a loaf of homemade bread for all the faculty and staff of the school for Teacher Appreciation Week. On Monday morning, the staff was delighted to receive the fresh bread with a Portuguese sausage! The bread making project was led by our PTSG talented bakers, Mrs. Millie Gilmore and her mother, Mrs. Perreira, who shared their recipe. With the help of other parents and the PTSG Board, they baked 62 loaves of delicious bread!
