PTSG Green Gala Event

PTSG Green Gala

Aloha Saint Anthony Parish and School ‘Ohana,

On behalf of the entire parish and school communities, I would like to extend a warm and heartfelt MAHALO for a wonderful Silent Auction and Wine Tasting. The food from Cactus, Naked Cow Dairy, and Il Gelato was delicious. The wines from Tamura’s and Duane and Tricia Miyashiro, and the beer from Honolulu Beer Works were very popular! Entertainment from Harry Koizumi and the Saloon Pilots had the crowd on their feet and dancing. The Green Gala had so many people and hands involved in making this event a fun and successful evening to benefit our school.

Thank you to our wonderful PTSG for their amazing hard work and innumerable hours they put in to coordinate this event. Thank you to: Mrs. Stephanie Guy; President; Mrs. Veronica Kinzer (Vice President), Mrs. Ging Ging Fernandez (Treasurer), Mrs. Millie Perreira, (Secretary). Thank you, ladies, for all of your hard work throughout this year.

Thank you to Mrs. Laura Ayers, Auction Chair, for the long hours, and literally sacrificing your voice to oversee every single detail and ensure smooth sailing for the evening. Thank you to her committee that also included Nikki DeWitt and Emily Flanagan.

Thank you to Mrs. Deborah Glazier, for volunteering your time and photography talent again this year, to capture such beautiful and creative pictures of our wonderful students. Pictures are still available for purchase through the school office.

Thank you to Mrs. Eva Aquino, for always being willing to lend a hand; for always working hard to better our school and ‘ohana, and for the beautiful air plant centerpieces that adorned our tables.

Thank you to our Faculty and Staff, for all the creativity, time, and energy spent making baskets and beautiful art pieces to contribute to our auction. These are always big sellers, as parents love to have items made by their children.

Thank you to the Staff Sergeant Charles Walker and l4 Marine volunteers from the Staff Non-Commissioned Academy at Marine Corps Base Hawaii who gave up their Saturday, to do heavy lifting and set up the tables, tents, lights, and chairs for our event!

Thank you to the community businesses for their fabulous donations to our school that allowed us to have over 150 wonderful baskets and auction items! Thank you to the parents and friends of the school who also donated items and came out to support the school by bidding and purchasing the auction items!

This was a community event and thanks to your support we were able to raise money to continue to benefit Catholic education and its students. We look forward to next year’s event, with an attendance that continues to grow!
