Students will learn through exploration and creative play.  This class is held in the Early Learning Center and is open to students entering Pre-Kindergarten at St. Anthony School, and 4-year old students who have completed Pre-School.  Enrollment is limited and priority will be given to current and new students entering our Early Learning Program.

Session I Language Arts & Session II Math – students will review what they learned in Reading, Writing and Mathematics in 6th and 7th grade to help strengthens their skills for the next school year. We will also delve into some Study & Organizational Skills. As Middle Schoolers they are being taught to be critical thinkers & problem solvers.

After School Care Program

Things to Know:

During this time of Covid-19 we take the health and safety of our students and staff seriously. We continue to follow all CDC and State directives and protocols. Please be sure to inform us if there are any concerns or exposure during Summer School.

*All students must wear a mask while on campus and in After School Care. Students will not be mingling with other classes.

*Please call the school office by 8am to report any absences, if tardy students report directly to the classroom. Regular attendance is expected and vacations are discouraged during this time.

*If a child becomes ill a parent/emergency contact person will be called to pick them up. *Remember to do the Health Check daily.

*Dress Code: appropriate, non-uniform, clothes may be worn. Please be mindful of what is acceptable attire. Closed athletic shoes or sandals with a back strap are ok – no slippers. Hats only for recess and ASC. Watches may be worn except Smart/Apple watches, and girls may wear stud earrings, no other jewelry is allowed. Parents will be called to bring a change of clothes if attire is deemed inappropriate. All students must have a mask to wear while on campus.

*Students are not allowed to use their phones. Please do not text or call your child during school hours. Students may ask their teacher to call using their phone if it is to call a parent after school.

*No pictures are allowed to be taken or other non-approved use of technology.

*Students are expected to conduct themselves in a caring and safe manner at all times, with ALOHA. Any aggressive behavior or disrespect towards staff, students or property can result in dismissal; without a refund. *Please see the Parent/Student handbook on our website for further information: www.saskailua.org

*Progress Reports will be distributed at the half-way point and the end of Summer School.
