Morning Care: 6:45 AM -7:45 PM
After School Care: 11:45 AM – 5:30 PM

Priority is given to current SAS students. Summer School classes may be combined or canceled based on enrollment.

Morning Care and After School Care:

  • Morning Care Grades 1-8 Students  6:45 AM -7:45 AM
    Cost: $50
    Located in K2
  • After School Care in the ELC: 11:45 AM – 5:30 PM
    Cost: $575
    Available for Pre-K and Entering Kindergarten students
    Please bring a lunch & nap blanket. Afternoon snack provided.
  • After School Care in Art Room: 11:45 AM – 5:30 PM
    Cost: $575
    Available to Grades 1-8.
    Please bring a lunch.
    Afternoon snack provided.

Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Review

  • 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM
  • Current Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Students
  • These classes are held in the Early Learning Center and focus on the continued development of social-emotional skills, and building upon learned skills in preparation for the next grade level. Learning will take place in a creative, fun, and nurturing environment.

Entering First Grade to Fifth Grade

  • 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM
  • Students will review skills learned during the school year while also preparing for entering the next grade level. Classes will focus on core learning and enrichment, in a fun and collaborative environment.

Middle School Grades 6th – 8th
$6oo.00 (Both Sessions) $325.00 (One Session)

  • Session I: 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM Session II 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM
  • Sixth Grade: Session I – Math & Session II Language Arts
    Jump into Grade 6 by reviewing and building upon Math, Comprehension, and Writing skills learned in 5th grade.
  • Seventh and Eighth Grade: Session I Language Arts & Session II Math
    Students will review and build upon Reading, Writing, and Math skills learned in the previous grades to help prepare them for the upcoming school year.

  • If your child is absent, the school office must be notified by 8:30 a.m. You must call (808) 261-3331 – to report an absence. Regular attendance is expected and vacations are discouraged during this time. If your child is tardy, he/she must report directly to their classroom.
  • If your child feels ill at school, a parent/emergency contact person will be called to pick them up. They must be symptom-free, and unmedicated, for 24 hours before returning.
  • Dress Code: Appropriate free dress may be worn. Closed athletic shoes or sandals with a back strap are acceptable – no slippers. Hats may only be worn during Recess time and in After School Care (ASC). Watches and stud earrings (for girls only) may be worn. No jewelry (other than religious) or makeup is allowed. Parents will be called to bring a change of clothes if the school deems it necessary.
  • The usage of cell phones or other technology during school hours is not allowed unless authorized by the teacher. Please do not directly text or call your child during school hours. The office will relay any messages.
  • Students are not allowed to take pictures or videos unless authorized by the school or teacher.
  • Students are expected to conduct themselves in a caring and safe manner. Any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior towards staff, students, or property can result in dismissal; without a refund.
  • Progress Reports will be distributed at the end of Summer School.
  • The Summer School schedule does not include lunch service. All students staying for After School Care (ASC) must bring a home lunch.
